Postl-Yore has been providing architectural services to both private and public sector clients throughout Northeastern Illinois since 1978.
Good architecture has always struck a balance between art and science. Today’s architecture also requires an awareness of economic issues, an understanding of social and political issues, and a commitment to the environment around us all.
The approach to new design begins with the development of a complete understanding of the client’s current program, operations, and future needs. Consideration of site issues, material options, life cycle cost analysis, and community impact all play an important role in the final solution.
In recent years, Postl-Yore has planned and designed numerous municipal facilities in the Chicagoland area, including fire stations, public works facilities, pumping stations, train stations, community centers, senior living facilities, and village halls.
Postl-Yore also provides Professional Architectural and Engineering services to Townhome and Condominium Associations. Postl-Yore provides design and construction administration services for foundation, roof, exterior façade repair/renovation and interior building/facility projects. Comprehensive study, design and specifications provide a solid basis of receiving highly competitive bids from qualified contractors, for well defined scopes of work.
On-site observation by Postl-Yore's team helps the client assure compliance by contractors for contracted work and project specifications. Whether low rise, mid-rise, or high rise buildings, Postl-Yore can perform the on-site construction observation required. The end result for owners is the knowledge that their contractor provided what they paid for, and they only paid for what the contractor actually provided.
Postl-Yore is also experienced in providing associations with comprehensive reserve studies. These studies provide a basis for the Client to plan long range maintenance, capital improvements, and develop the associated budgets and fees for those programs.
